Tamar Braxton is coming – and the shop will never be the same.
More barbershop laughs, funny family pranks and comical romantic mishaps are ahead on Bounce’s hit sitcom In The Cut. Tamar shines in her guest role as an efficiency expert hired by Jay (Dorien Wilson) to improve the business. The three-time Grammy nominated singer and TV personality proves that change isn’t always a good thing.
The upcoming episode finds business yielding some unexpected changes after Jay’s hiring of an efficiency expert (Braxton) backfires.
Take a look at Tamar behind the scenes below.
I had the pleasure of going one-on-one with Tamar a few years ago. My favorite part of our talk was on the subject of perseverance, in which she gave me some sound advice. She also shared how her self-confidence has grown tremendously over time and continues to grow each day, which is evident in her increase of television and film roles.
Also on the episode, Smitty (John Marshall Jones) decides to visit Mabel’s (Laura Hayes) diner, but quickly becomes jealous when he discovers that one of her old flames, Charles (Guest star Roy Fegan), has reappeared.
Bounce’s hit sitcom In The Cut follows barbershop owner Jay “The Dream” Weaver(Dorien Wilson) as he continues to bond with Kenny (Ken Lawson), the adult son he never knew he had. Drama and comedy surfaces as he balances working alongside wisecracking employees, his attraction to Cheryl (Kellita Smith), competition from the new co-owner of the beauty salon next door and much more.
The series was created by Bentley Kyle Evans and is produced by Evans and partner Trenten Gumbs, both of whom produce the Bounce hit original series Family Time.
